Pauleana Stevanovski, PA-C, is a certified and state-licensed physician assistant at Suburban Behavioral Health Services in Oakbrook Terrace and Wheaton, Illinois. Pauleana graduated with distinction from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and a minor in Health Promotion. She then earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS) at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. With previous experience as a nursing assistant and medical assistant, Pauleana has cared for diverse patient populations, including underserved communities, adolescents, and the geriatric population.

Pauleana provides compassionate, holistic care that focuses on both mind and body, believing that any coexisting medical conditions or stressors are best addressed with a whole-person approach. She treats a variety of mental health conditions, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders, and is also interested in alternative psychiatric treatments and lifestyle interventions. She is LGBTQ+-affirming.

Pauleana fosters a comfortable environment for all patients, where they feel heard, understood, and valued. She sees patients as more than their diagnosis and encourages each to play an active role in their mental health journey to find the care regimen that will lead them to healing, remission, and/or recovery.

Outside of work, Pauleana enjoys concerts, soccer, art, and is a dedicated cat mom and Detroit Lions fan.
